I suppose my personal aesthetic is built upon nostalgia from times where things were made well and sturdy. For example, there are some watch movements that were called “tracteurs” or tractors. Basically because they were sturdy, shock proof, built to handle anything - old rolexes and valjoux movements come to mind. Same could be said for shoes which are built to be rebuilt forever and beautiful suits whose materials settle over time. Love these things.

Feel like Luca Cordero di Montezemolo today. Sporting my GMT master, wearing by Acqua di Parma. And about to go meet a friend sporting a vintage Heuer Monza - the watch celebrating the 1975 victory of Team Ferrari.
